well, we got back safe and sound from raleigh. Unfourtunately, Erin didn't place for her presentation about guide dogs. there was another girl there who was giving a presentation guide dogs too, and she had been doing it for 11 years. I have to say, hers was excellent. but it's still pretty good for Erin to have gotten all the way to state on her first try :). afterward we visited the museum of science, which really neat. I took some fun pictures, which I can't get to because it's on sis.Owens camera and I don't have the usb cord, unfortunately. but the exhibits were pretty amazing. they actually had a whale's bone skeleton hanging from the ceiling! We took Jake with into the musuem and got stopped by a security guard. he was like "Now what's up with this dog?" and Erin of course said, "he's a guide dog in training..." but the man wasn't buying it. "Are you blind?" noooo. but anyway, we had to go back to the front desk were the gaurd was informered that yes, guide dogs and puppies in training are allowed in the building.
