Is there anyway to artificially create passion? to stir up the driving force that has made good people great? If there is, I'd like to have it. I'd like it to be condensed down into pill form; something I could swallow down with my breakfast. But as it is, there's not. There's not always emotion to help keep determination strong. Sometimes I have to stop trying to rely on my feelings to make me do things I want to do, sometimes I have to just rely on my own mind: my own logic telling me to do it, whether I feel like it or not, or else I'll regret it later on down the road.

Using your mind to motivate yourself is a great use for the mind. Most people just let their thoughts and emotions run them, instead of choosing to be a conscious witness of the underlying essence that is their being.
We are not our thoughts, we are living in the moment. The moment is all we have. I've found that being in the moment and listening to my breath, or noticing the spaciousness around content really motivates me to become more alive. Thanks for allowing me to comment on such a great post. Be well
passion is natural and you are trying to stimulate artificially, which is not an option
if only martinis came in pill form...
